COVID-19 19 protocolos

Tourist Operation Protocols (COVID-19)
Provision of the service (Tourism Operation):

This process applies only to tour operators and for short and long itineraries.

a) Before the operation:

Use digital means preferably for the delivery to the official tour guide of material, documentation and money related to the travel group. In case of making deliveries in person, you must previously disinfect, store (separately the guide, passenger or group manager) and close in an envelope or bag.
Note: It is recommended to also consider the courier service or other remote means, reducing the travel or exposure to contagion risks of the tour guide outside and in the office.
Reconfirm the services with all providers related to the group and confirm that they carry the appropriate PPE.
Note: verify that the reservations are in accordance with the protocols of the providers.
Ask the official tour guide to record your body temperature and your state of health on the form AND/OR evaluation certificate.

b) During the operation:

The tour guide must ensure that passengers carry the appropriate PPE and use it correctly.
The guide must verify that passengers wash their hands with soap and water or disinfect their hands at each boarding and according to the protocols of scheduled third parties (tourist transport, tourist sites, others).
The guide must verify that the passengers disinfect their footwear (sole) at the beginning of the operation and according to scheduled third-party protocols (tourist transport, tourist sites, others).
Ask the guide to take and record the body temperature of the passengers and driver at each boarding, and according to the protocol of the scheduled tourist transport services.
Monitor the operation and record any incident.
Have emergency numbers to report suspected cases of Covid-19 and provide timely care. Numbers: 113 and other establishments at the discretion of the agency.
The guide must remind the passengers about the sanitary protocols of the third parties scheduled in the services.
The guide must verify that the passengers comply with the health protocols of the third parties scheduled in the services.
Coordinate with the guide for the timely handling of suspected cases of Covid-19 during the tourist operation. To do this, the guide must act as follows:
i) In the situation where passengers present Covid-19 symptoms: Use the contingency PPE provided by the agency; isolate the suspected case, implement a physical barrier or apply a distance of at least 2 meters where possible. Also apply the Symptomatology Sheet to the Passenger and continue with the agency’s protocol regarding the actions to be carried out in the event of a suspected case of contagion.
ii) In the event that the tour guide presents Covid-19 symptoms: Continue with the agency’s protocol regarding the actions to be carried out in the event of a suspected case of contagion.
Avoid handling or exchanging objects and physical contact during the handling of passenger complaints and claims (tour guide and/or agency staff present in the operation).
